The Weird Gloop Minecraft Wiki is a Weird Gloop wiki about the video game Minecraft. The wiki forked from Fandom in September 24, 2023, leaving the Fandom wiki behind still active for reading and editing.
History[]
Right after the fork, the wiki introduced a new skin (which were described to be similar to the one used on Gamepedia) and a new logo. In addition to that, MarkusRost, a user who was an admin on the German Fandom Minecraft Wiki, become an admin on the English Weird Gloop Minecraft Wiki; and Nixinova regained his bureaucrat right on the wiki after he got demoted on the Fandom wiki in early 2023 due to inactivity.
In September 13, 2024, the company Block & Quill Ltd was set up to manage the Minecraft Wiki.[1]
In November 30, 2024, the Minecraft Protocol Wiki officially came to its end.[2] Editors of the Minecraft Wiki and the Protocol Wiki agreed to merge the Minecraft Protocol Wiki's contents to the Weird Gloop Minecraft Wiki.
In March 18, 2025, the main page of the wiki was redesigned.
