The Language Brigade Wiki is a wiki founded in 2013 as the wiki of the "Wikia Language Brigade" project. Rather than articles, its main focus are translation and correction request pages.
History[edit | edit source]
The Language Brigade Wiki was founded on July 7, 2013, as a project wiki to go with the Wikia Language Brigade, a user project created two days before on July 5.
Languages[edit | edit source]
Due to its nature, the Language Brigade Wiki does not have any interlanguage links, but instead keeps translations of wiki pages directly on the wiki itself.
Base pagenames as provided usually, instead of the page content, contain two templates: a flag navigation to provide easy access to changing the page's language, and a template to pull the content of the page in different languages.
The actual content of a page can be found in its subpages, suffixed by the language code. For instance, the English (en) version of WLB can be found at WLB/en, whereas the Japanese (ja) version of the same page is at WLB/ja.
The Wikia Language Brigade supports any language available on either Wikia or Wikipedia, provided that translators are available on the wiki. A full list of languages is maintained at Project:Languages.
